Intro to the Eletre
The brand-new Lotus Eletre is a forward-thinking, all electric, Hyper SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). It transforms the fundamental ideas and Lotus DNA from more than 70 years of sports car engineering and design into an appealing brand-new lifestyle vehicle. Eletre features a radical porous design, active aerodynamics, and an opulent, exotic appearance. With each travel, the utilisation of cutting-edge sustainable materials raises the bar for luxury.
Overview of Eletre
The brand’s first-ever SUV, the Lotus Eletre, has been unveiled at Silverstone. This brand-new electric vehicle is one of the most cutting-edge SUVs ever created thanks to its superior self-driving features and performance-focused technology.
The all-electric Lotus Eletre is eye-catching and forward-thinking. It was born British thanks to UK-led design, and it was raised internationally thanks to Lotus teams from around the world. The end result is a Hyper SUV that offers drivers a genuine Lotus experience thanks to 70 years of DNA.
A perfect fusion of active dynamics, high power, and torque produces the performance one would expect from a Lotus. It transforms the fundamental ideas and Lotus identity into a desirable new lifestyle vehicle.

Design
The new Lotus Eletre puts the ‘sport’ in sport utility vehicle. It features a dipping coupe-like roofline and sharply sculpted doors supported by alloy wheels up to 23-inches that can only be seen on a SUV.
The Eletre has been configured with efficiency in mind. It has a porous design which allows air to flow around and through the vehicle therefore reducing drag and enhancing performance. The Evija derived vents in the front bumper, bonnet and above the rear wheel arches give function to the Eletre form.
The Eletre’s scowling headlights, razor sharp bumper creases and futuristic air vents will captivate and thrill anyone who glances at it, whilst the concealed rear spoiler which opens as the Eletre cruises up the speedometer and roof mounted fins are engineered to enhance aerodynamic efficiency creating an effortless transition across the speedrange.
Interior
Inside the Eletre, Lotus has thrown out the rule book replacing the previous ‘add lightness’ attitude with well equipped, luxurious and durable interiors.
The high centre console, low seating position and flat dashboard provides a sporty feel which is reminiscent of the classic Lotus design. The addition of the 15.1 landscape touchscreen allows easy access to interior controls and adds a luxury feel to the cabin, elevating the Eletre to a new level of style, sophistication and utility.
There are two further displays (one for the driver and one for the passenger), in addition to the augmented-reality head-up display and when selecting the Executive 4 seat layout there will be a touchscreen display for rear passengers.
Performance
This is the most technologically advanced Lotus to date thanks to the first deployable LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) system in the world and sophisticated autonomous driving features. Eletre is the first SUV in the world with 800V architecture, offering outstanding range and charging choices so that you can spend more time driving and less time plugged in.
Two electric motors are included with the new Lotus Eletre (one driving the front wheels and another driving the rear wheels).
The Eletre can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds thanks to its combined 905HP or electrical equivalent of 675kW. It is therefore faster than most of its competition.
Due to its enormous (100kWh+) battery pack, the Lotus Eletre and Eletre S boast a 373-mile range.
The Eletre boasts a powerful 800V electrical system as well and enables you to charge it using swift 350kW public fast chargers. In less than 20 minutes, they can charge the Lotus’ batteries from 10–80% capacity.
Range, Tour, Sport, and (in a first for Lotus) Off-Road are the four driving modes offered by the new Lotus Eletre. In order to make the vehicle as pleasant as possible, these modes change the motor settings, steering settings, and height of the basic air suspension.
There are also a tonne of optional features, which you would anticipate from an upscale SUV. There are rear-wheel steering options and carbon ceramic brakes, which don’t fade when used on racetracks and make a vehicle more manoeuvrable in crowded urban areas.
Along with an improved rear differential that can assist in directing power to the rear tyre with the highest traction, active anti-roll bars are also available to prevent the car from tilting in tight turns.
The Lotus Eletre is a highly-performance electric vehicle that offers drivers a perfect balance of style, technology, and performance. The base version, the Eletre, is optimized for all drivers and features a 450 kW dual motor, a 1-speed transmission, and a 4-wheel drive system. The Eletre S takes the driving experience to the next level with enhanced audio, aerodynamics, and practical features, while the Eletre R is designed for drivers who demand the ultimate in performance, with a 675 kW dual motor and a 2-speed transmission. All three versions come equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a heads-up display, advanced driver assistance systems, and a KEF premium audio system, making the Lotus Eletre a top choice for anyone looking for a top-performing electric vehicle.
